Tony Lee Phelps, age 57 of Morgantown, KY passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Morgantown, Kentucky. Born on Tuesday, June 20, 1967, in Butler County, Kentucky, Tony's life was a testament to his humor, friendliness, and handy nature. Tony was preceded in death by his loving parents, William L. and Janice Sue Blanchard Phelps, his brother Randy Phelps, and his treasured granddaughter Geneva Cardwell.

 Tony is survived by his daughter Cindy Russell (James) of Morgantown, KY, and his sons Jason and Austin Phelps, both of Morgantown, KY, his grandchildren Nehemiah, Zebekiah Cardwell, James Russell V all of Morgantown, KY and a grandchild on the way, his sister Tammy Suggs (Kevin), also of Morgantown, KY his nieces Lillian and Hannah Suggs, Scarlett Phelps, and nephews Zach Phelps (Heather) and Jake Phelps (Sarah), all of Morgantown, KY.

Tony dedicated many years of his life to Dunaway Timber, he was currently employed by Hack's Used Cars and Auto Parts, where his jack-of-all-trades skills were invaluable.

A man of many interests, Tony found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed playing guitar, his love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing and camping, pursuits that allowed him to embrace the beauty of nature. Tony was also a member of the local CB club, where his voice was a familiar and welcome presence on the airwaves. Above all, Tony cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, March 24, 2025 at 2:00pm with Bro. David Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery where his family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
