Christopher Wayne Gaskey, known affectionately as Chris to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Morgantown, Kentucky. Born on November 23, 1983, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Chris's warmth and intelligence touched the lives of all who knew him. Chris was a man of many passions, with a particular love for the escapism of movies and the immersive worlds found within the pages of books.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon L. Coots Gaskey, whose memory he held close to his heart. Chris is survived by his father, Karl Wayne Gaskey, sister, Brooklynn Gaskey, and brother, Nicholas Jenning, nephew, Dawson Felty, and his cousin, Garrett Renfrow all of Morgantown, KY.
