Lewis Gene Hudnall, age 88, passed away at his residence in Bowling Green, KY on July 8, 2024. Born on November 12, 1935, in Davis County, Kentucky, and was raised in Butler County, KY. Lewis's life was marked by his loving nature, kindness, and selfless spirit.

Lewis graduated from Butler County High School in the class of 1955, and a United States Army Veteran.  He embarked on a career at Whirlpool, from which he would eventually retire. Throughout his life, Lewis enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading was profound, with the Bible and the works of Mark Twain.Lewis's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, especially in the time he spent with his grandson Cash.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell D. and Cora Ida Orange Hudnall, and his son, Haskell Hudnall. Lewis's memory will be lovingly preserved by his surviving family members. He leaves behind three daughters, Megan Hudnall (Jonathan Wester) of Morgantown, KY, Shatana Washer of Bowling Green, KY, and Ida "Sissy" Armstrong of Palm Bay, Florida. His legacy continues through his four grandsons, Cash Wester, Mica Baker, Wessley Inscoe, and Travis Smith; two granddaughters, Katelyn "Katie" West and Toni Clark; and several great-grandchildren. Lewis is also survived by two brothers, Marvin Hudnall of Bowling Green, KY, and Robert Hudnall of Morgantown, KY; and one sister, Lorene Washer of Morgantown, KY. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be held at the Orange Cemetery Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00am with Bro. Roger Heltsley officiating.
