Amanda Jean Jones Cockerell, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the age of 39 in Morgantown, Kentucky. Born on February 1, 1985, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Amanda's life was a vibrant journey that touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Amanda's spirit was characterized by her adventurous nature and her love for the beauty of the world, which was evident in her passion for the beach and traveling. Her zest for life was infectious, and she found joy in the simple pleasures, like the flutter of butterflies and the transformation brought about by makeup and getting all dressed up. Above all, Amanda cherished the time spent with her beloved family, creating memories that they will hold dear forever.

She is survived by her children, Ethan and Abby Cockerell of Morgantown, KY; her mother, Wanda Bayley, also of Morgantown, KY. Amanda's legacy will live on through her siblings, who were her lifelong friends and confidants: Daniel Jones of Morgantown, KY, Joseph Charleston Jones of Bowling Green, KY, and April Hampton (Brian) of Russellville, KY and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Jones, and her stepfather, Jeff Bayley.
