Wilbur Eugene Deel

Wilbur Eugene Deel, age 81 of Bowling Green, passed away Friday at his residence. He was born in Butler County to the late Wilbur Clay and Mary Alice Martin Deel. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Mae Gidcumb Deel. He was a retired crane operator for WASCO and a member of the Richland Baptist Church. He loved his horses, his family, and loved to travel and dig ginseng.

Wilbur is survived by his daughters, Sandra K. Deel Pate (Primo Ibarra) of Bowling Green, Linda Faye Deel Lloyd of Bowling Green. Sons, Robbie Eugene Deel (Kathy) and Eddie Duain Deel (Meredith) both of Bowling Green. Grandchildren, Ricky Cowles (Miranda) Krystal Deel (Eric)) Ashley Deel, Damien Adkins, Jonathan Deel (Kasey), Shaina McDonald (Darian), Simone Rahme. 12 great grandchildren, one brother, Johnny Deel (Barbara) of Bowling Green, one sister Betty Crump of Sugar Grove. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 8, at 1:00 pm at the J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway with burial in Union Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Butler County. Visitation will begin on Friday, From 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday after 10:00 am until the time of service, all at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
