Evelyn "Evie" Jewel Johnson, age 12 of Morgantown, KY passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Butler County, KY. Evie was born on Friday, February 11, 2011 in Bowling Green, KY to her loving parents Michael Ray Johnson and Mareesa Hunt Fulkerson.  A lively, outgoing young lady who would light up a room.  Evie was a honor student at Butler County Middle School where she had just completed her 6th grade year. She was a active member of the volleyball, soccer, academic team, gifted and talented and a middle school cheerleader. Evie was a social butterfly, who loved animals and all her friends and family. She was Baptized and attended CrossWins Church in Franklin, KY. She is preceded in death by her step father Christopher Fulkerson.

Evelyn "Evie" Jewel Johnson is survived by her mother Mareesa Hunt Fulkerson of Morgantown, KY; her father Michael Ray Johnson (Shelly) of Smiths Grove, KY; two half brothers Paul Michael Johnson (Kaitlyn) of Bowling Green, KY and Bailey Houston Johnson of Glasgow, KY; half sister Ashley Nicole Johnson of Smiths Grove, KY; step sister Audree Anne Fulkerson of Kentucky; grandparents Eddie and Martha Hunt of Morgantown, KY and Carolyn Johnson of Smiths Grove, KY; aunt and uncle Terri and Josh Amos of Morgantown, KY; two cousins Clay and Will Amos of Morgantown, KY; one niece Lydia Michelle Johnson of Bowling Green, KY and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel  Monday, July 3, 2023 at 3:00pm with Bro. Ronnie Graves officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgeview Cemetery where Josh, Clay & Will Amos, Paul & Bailey Johnson and Matt House will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Monday 8:00am until funeral time at 3:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
