Florence Elizabeth Jones, 76 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Florence was born March 1, 1943 in Morganfield, Kentucky to the union of Harry and Mable Taylor Rucker. She was a faithful member of the Morgantown First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School at the Morgantown Care & Rehab for the past 35 years. She enjoyed her grandbaby's, working puzzles and spending time with family and friends. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Tonya Suzanne Jones; one sister Helen Deweese and one brother Richard Rucker.

Florence Elizabeth Jones is survived by her husband of 50 years J.L. Jones of Morgantown, KY; one daughter Ann Howard (Jeff) of Morgantown, KY; one granddaughter Deitra Howard of Morgantown, KY; two great granddaughters Emma Rosely Fulton and Maddy Lane Fulton both of Morgantown, KY; one brother Jim Rucker of Killeen, Texas; two brother in laws Paul Jones  (Lisa) of Bowling Green, KY and Earl Jones (Norma) of Kings Mountain, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2:00pm with Bro. Greg Wallace officiating. Burial will be held in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 28, 2019 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Sunday 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
