Linda Sue Givens, 75, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday July 5, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Sue was born on Tuesday, October 5, 1943 in Butler County, KY to the late James Vineyard and Bonnie Ilene Duncan Tyree. She was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Butler County Board of Education with the food service department. Sue enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers—James and Glyn Tyree; two sisters-in-law,  Mazelle Tyree and Christine Tyree; and one brother-in-law, Beckham Martin. 

Linda Sue Givens is survived by her husband of 54 years, Douglas Givens of Morgantown, KY; two daughters-Salena Coleman and husband Scott of Morgantown, KY; and Alisha Cox of Morgantown, KY; five grandchildren Hillery Flener and husband Austan of Morgantown, KY; Lathan and Claire Coleman of Morgantown, KY; and Gunnar and Johnna Cox of Morgantown, KY; two great-grandchildren, Abel and Arlee Flener of Morgantown, KY; two brothers, Willis Tyree of Morgantown, KY and Charles "Bud" Tyree and wife Shelia of Morgantown, KY; one sister-Betty Martin of Magnolia, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Woody Moore and Bro. Don Rogers officiating. Burial will be held in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
