Goldie Kinkade

Mrs. Goldie Kinkade, 84, entered into rest on October 14, 2018 after a valiant struggle.  If you knew this lady at all you know that even death probably thought twice before picking a fight with her but even she proved to be human after all and eventually joined all her loved ones whom had crossed before her. We are sure she insulted death as she went by him and he knew better than give her any back talk. She was a member of Mercy Seat Pentecostal Church, was formerly employed at Kellwood Manufacturing, a self employed grocery store owner.  Goldie loved auctions and yard sales, where she added to her vast collections of ceramic chickens and frogs.  Miss Goldie was born in Butler County on May 23, 1934 to George and Bonnie Parks Kirby.  After crossing the country and two stays in Racine, Wisconsin, she came home to Butler County for her final five decades. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty two years Denzil Kinkade;  two sisters Erdine Wells and Eunice Lagrand;  one brother Glendale Kirby;  two daughters Diane Cardwell and Bernice Simmons;  son-in-law  Danny Cardwell;  three grandchildren Adam White, Kurt Cardwell and Teresa Turner; great grandson Keith Cardwell Jr. and his mother Michelle Cardwell.

Goldie is survived by son Dennis Kinkade (Teresa) of Morgantown; daughter Pat White of Morgantown; ten grandchildren Taylor Kinkade, Drake Kinkade, Danny Cardwell Jr.,(Tammy), Penny Milam (Mike), Brian Keith Cardwell, Josh Cardwell (Jessica), Jonathan Simmons, Lisa Jones, Scottie Simmons (Jane) and Alana Simmons; three great-grandchildren whom she helped raise after the death of her grandson Alexis White, Mercedes White, Shane White and several more great grandchildren; brother Robert Kirby; sister Dixie Lagrand; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
