Michelle Elmore Cardwell, 46, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Michelle was born in Louisville, Ky. on July 13, 1972.  She was of the Baptist faith, loved to camp, fish and recently worked in the meat department at Save A Lot.  She was preceded in death by her mother Shelby Dimple Johnson Elmore and son Brian Kieth Cardwell Jr.
 
Michelle is survived by her husband of 30 years Brian Kieth Cardwell and son Ethan Cardwell both of Morgantown; father Odell Elmore of Louisville; sisters Deborah Cortie and Donna Prewitt both of Louisville; brother Timothy Elmore (Gloria) of Louisville; several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, August 20, 2018, at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow in the Youngtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 20, from 10 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 280, Morgantown, Ky.  42261.
