John Richard Warren, 84 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Ohio County Hospital. John was born November 12, 1933, in McHenry, Kentucky in Ohio County to the late Marvin Lee and Virginia Palma Hill Warren and husband of the late Lula Mae Butler Warren. He was a member of Warren's Mill Church of Christ, United States Marine Corps veteran, a retired farmer and he enjoyed fox hunting and his CB radio. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one sister Mary Embry and one nephew Donnie Drake.

John Richard Warren is survived by one stepson Ronnie Morris of Morgantown, KY; two sisters Celia Drake of Morgantown, KY and Jolene Johnson and husband Les of Beaver Dam, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 11:00 am with Bro. Joe Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Warren's Mill Cemetery where military rights will be presented by AM Vets Post #117. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
