Ruby Stagner Hawkins, 87, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Butler Co. on Oct. 28, 1930 to the late Jess Stagner. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Hawkins; great grandson Christopher Allen Henderson and brother Gary Stagner.

Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her daughter Debra Cardwell and husband Gary of Morgantown, son David Hawkins of Morgantown; grandchildren Crissy Cunagin and husband David of Rochester, Melissa Henderson and husband Richie of Morgantown; five great grandchildren Jakob and Shyanne Cunagin, Alison, Emily and Samantha Henderson; great great grandchild Ava Grace Teal; sister Clarice Brown and husband Gerald of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 12 pm with Bro. David Beliles officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4 from 10:30am-8pm and Friday from 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
