Donnie Ray Woodcock, 66, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, May 28th, 2017 at Springview Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on Sunday, May 20th, 1951 in Grayson County, the son of the late Abe Elzie and Lizzy (Whobrey) Woodcock. Donnie enjoyed bowling and loved the Special Olympics.

Donnie is survived by his sister, Mary Reed of Louisville; three nieces, Debbie Rhodes (Mark) and Brenda Ranschaert (Todd) both of Louisville and Faye Coomer of Falls of Rough; one nephew, Wayne McCombs of Morgantown; several great-nieces and several nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Woodcock and three sisters, Martha, Margaret and Lucille.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 1st at 2:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Marvin Dodson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Woodcock Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Thursday after 11:00 am and until time of service.
