Inis Faye Alford Huff
Inis Faye Alford Huff lost her battle to cancer Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at home surrounded by family who loved her deeply. Faye was born Sept. 4, 1955, in Butler County, daughter of the late Esco and Murrel Alford. Faye also was preceded in death by two sisters, Iva Miller and Ida Mae Boone; and two brothers, Ricky Alford and Roscoe Alford.
She was an amazing woman of God who loved her family more than anything. Faye enjoyed being a member of Cedar Grove General Baptist Church. There she spent time volunteering in many ministries including the Cedar Grove Clowns. She volunteered much of her time to Special Olympics, loved camping at Huff Lake with family and riding motorcycles with her man.
Faye embodied the Christian spirit, always giving to others and a forever smile on her face. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and her boyfriend, "Santa."
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Stanley Huff; a son, Stanley Huff Jr. of Hartford; two daughters, Danielle (Bud) Coffman of Hartford and Heather (Brian) Curtis of Harker Heights, Texas; one sister, Ina Gray; five brothers, Romie, Rovie, Ronnie, Roy and Raymond Alford; eight grandchildren, Brennon Tucker, Brie Coffman, Chaela Curtis, Braidey Coffman, Brier Coffman, Shane Coffman and Cole and Kenzie Curtis; and two great-grandchildren, Arrow Tucker and Olive Tucker.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Grove Church with the Rev. Larry Embry officiating. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Bevil Bros. Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, is in charge of arrangements. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Ohio County Special Olympics. Envelopes will be available at the church. Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
