Dorris "PeeWee" Keown, 80 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky Hospice House in Bowling Green Ky. Dorris was born June 18, 1936, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Denzil and Ollie Johnson Keown. He was a member of Pleasant Rock Full Gospel Church where he served as a deacon and worked in the coal mines for many years.  Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Dorris "PeeWee" Keown is survived by his loving wife Georgie Ann Miller Keown of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons Rodney Keown and wife Tonya of Morgantown, Ky. and Roger Keown wife Ann of Morgantown, Ky.; four grandchildren Jeremy Keown and wife Melinda, Amy Brooks and husband Jeremy, Jenny Keown all of Morgantown, Ky. and Joey Shields and wife Jennifer of Glasgow, Ky.; five great-grandchildren Savannah Keown, Shayla Keown, Ashlynn and Chaney Brooks all of Morgantown, Ky. and Caleb Shields of Glasgow, Ky.; two sisters Jonell Pender of Bowling Green, Ky. and Carolyn Meredith and husband Harold of Morgantown, Ky.; two brothers Raymond Keown and Dallas Keown and wife Starr all of Morgantown, Ky.  and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 3:00 pm with Bro. Larry Clark officiating.
Burial will be in the Little Muddy Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday, July 23, 2016, from 8:00 am until funeral time at 3:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
