Ernest "Buster" Childress, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. He was born in Butler County, Kentucky on December 15, 1930, to the late Bloomer and Dovie Childress. He was retired from Shamrock Construction as a truck driver for over twenty years.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Kathleen Childress; they had five children, Phyllis Ann Meredith, Ernest Robert Childress, Tammy Freibert (Travis), Melissa Scott, Monica Stephens (Kevin).He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Angela Scott, Allen Meredith, Somer Childress, Ashley Strange(Brandon), Lindsey Childress, Chelsea Mitchell (Robert), Destiny Freibert, Austin Scott, Dalton Childress Wheeler, Chelsea Freibert, Cadence Stephens, Trinity Childress, Landry Stephens and ten great-grandchildren.
