Freddie C. Embry, 95 of Beaver Dam, Ky. passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Ky. Freddie was born on Monday, July 19, 1920, to the late Lannie and Lela Bryant Embry and husband of the late Ruby Mae Lacefield Embry. He was a World War II Army Veteran, a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and retired contractor. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by four brothers Talford, Claude, Herbert and Chelse Embry and two sisters Helen Brooks and Pearl Ashby
Freddie C. Embry is survived by one daughter Barbara Hunt and husband Oscar of Morgantown, Ky.; two grandsons Dwayne Hunt and wife April of Gillette, Wyoming and Kyle Hunt and wife Jennilee of Bowling Green, Ky.; three great-grandchildren Dylan, Rylan Hunt of Bowling Green, Ky. and Brady Hunt of Gillette Wyoming; one brother Odell Embry and wife Gwen of Clarkson, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Mike Daugherty officiating.
Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Please share any photos, memories, condolences or light at candle in memory of Freddie at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com
