Mickey Felty, 71 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, at her residence. Mickey was born on Sunday, December 31, 1944, in Cole County Illinois to the late James and Gradie Johnson Phelps. She was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church and retired from Foodland Grocery Store. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one granddaughter Rebecca Felty and two sisters Jenell Joiner and Theresa Kendall.
Mickey Felty is survived by her loving husband Darrell Felty of Morgantown, Ky., four sons; Tim Felty and wife Connie of Henderson, Ky., Charlie Felty and wife Teresa of Morgantown, Ky., Tommy Felty of Nashville, TN and Wesley Felty and wife Lori of Morgantown, Ky. one daughter, Cindy Givens and husband Tim of Owensboro, Ky., three sisters Betty Grundy of Morgantown, Ky., Ellen Phelps and husband RC of Morgantown, Ky. and Tudy Hunter of Tipton, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 10:30 am with Bro. Gary Embry officiating.
Burial will be in the Belmont Church Cemetery.
