Edward L. Russ, 77 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday,January 27, 2016 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. Ed was born on Friday October 14, 1938 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Leslie Jasper Russ and Nora Beliles Russ. He was retired from the City of Morgantown as Public Work Director. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter Vonda Gale Russ, one sister Donnie Gaskey and one brother Odell Brown. 
Edward L. Russ is survived by his loving wife Betty J. Patterson Russ of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter Sherry Williams and husband Garnett of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons Eddie and Everett Russ both of Morgantown, Ky.; three grandchildren Elisha Williams, Derrick Williams and wife Sarah and Cody Russ and wife Brittany; three great grandchildren Chase Tichenor, Zaeleigh Russ and Ryder Williams; one brother Carlos Russ and wife Betty of Morgantown, Ky.; two sisters Opal Cherry of Bowling Green, Ky. and Alma Jean Keown of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 12:00pm with Bro. David Roland officiating.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 29, 2016  from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
