Shirley Jean Embry, 69 of Beaver Dam passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at her home. She was born July 8, 1946 in Calhoun to the late William Henry and Lannie Crabtree Evans. She was a member of Longview General Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Embry and her brother, William Henry Evans Jr.

Survivors include four sons, Timmy (Terri) Cessna of Fairfield, IL, Terry (Theresa) Cessna of Echols, Troy (Leisa) Cessna of Morgantown and David (Abera) Embry of Beaver Dam, two step-daughters, Bobbi Jo (Marcus) Baker of Madisonville and Tina (David) Andrews of Wingo, KY, one sister, Brenda (Freddie) Love of Utica, her niece, Ronda (Albert) Allanda of Lake Village, IN, fourteen grandchildren, Laurna Diesel, Jordan Cessna, Trenton Cessna, Lucas Cessna, Kendra Cessna, Kayla Cessna, Holly Pedigo, Caleb Houchens, Christopher Baker, Kori Francis, Kyle Francis, Austin Francis, Jr. Andrews and Heather Whitten, eight great-grandchildren, Kendall Diesel, Keaton Diesel, Harper Cessna, Mackenzie Francis, Trinity Martin, Teagin Pedigo, Chloe Baker and Ava Lynn Francis and her beloved pets, Cutie, Sissy, Baby, Sweetie Lee and Taffy Jean.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 15, 2016 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jay Raymond officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Thursday and 9 A.M. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
