In 2017, Butler County Corner, Marty Jones, responded to 30 calls and 18 Provisional Death Reports for Cremation. The thirty calls involved the following:

There are currently 6,149 open positions in the 10-county region and 5,105 unemployed. Going out 50 miles from our region, the number of open positions, jumps to more than 38,000.
