LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 15, 2022) – Bobby Smith, agency manager of the Butler County agency of Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance, has been named 2021 Agency Manager of the Year for District Two.

FRANKFORT— The Senate Health and Welfare Committee advanced a measure Wednesday that – in the event of any state vaccination mandates – would recognize natural immunity against COVID-19 as equivalent to being vaccinated.

The Butler County Public Library has been awarded a Public Library Facilities Construction Fund grant from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA) to build a new library on the corner of East Morrison Street and North Main Street in Morgantown.

County officials were in Frankfort for the Legislative Day. They met with Steve Sheldon, Melinda Gibbons Prunty (our new representative), and C.B. Embry.
