The Morgantown City Council gave final approval of both the non-profit donations ordinance and the golf cart ordinance and moved forward on funding to repair Boat Factory Road at Thursday’s monthly meeting.

The 2016 Calendar Girl/Centerfold Guy contest was held on Saturday night.   Kierra Neighbors was crowned Calendar Girl and will grace the cover of the calendar.  Houston Hampton was crowned Centerfold Guy.

The Butler County Board of Education held its monthly meeting at Butler County Middle School on Tuesday night, November 10.  Delbert Johnson, Ryan Daugherty, Dr. Amy Hood, and Debbie Hammers were in attendance.  The board elected Dr. Amy Hood chairperson and Delbert Johnson vice-chair.
