“I remember I cried when I heard the “Evansville” had sunk,” recalls Morgantown resident Wanna Evans with her sharp 93 years young, mind’s eye. The stately boat could be counted on to make two round trips weekly between the cities of Evansville and Bowling Green with scheduled stops between.

The Little Muddy RD Club met October 17th, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.  There were 20 people present.  The meeting began with Maggie Drake leading the club in the pledge to the American flag.  Scott Keen gave the blessing for the meal.

John Paul Boisseau will be the Guest Speaker at both Caney Fork and Ebenezer Presbyterian Churches on Sunday, Nov. 20th. He will be at Caney Fork at 9:45am and Ebenezer at 11:30am. John Paul's subject will be Addiction....Alcohol, Drugs, and other forms of Addiction.

Butler County: Western Kentucky University honored six students from Butler Coun

Western Kentucky University recently honored 38 students from six South Central Kentucky high schools for their academic achievements.  The annual High School Scholars recognition ceremony honored students who qualify for a renewable scholarship to WKU.
