Enter your non-profit into drawing for gate night responsibility for one night of the Green River Catfish Festival. If your non-profit name is drawn, your group will receive $1.00 of every gate fee for that night. Last year approximately $7000.00 was given away to 4 different organizations.

The Butler County Spelling Bee, hosted by the Butler County Retired Teachers and Butler County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, for students up to grade 8 was held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015.
Jenna Brooks is happy to announce the birth of her brother, Jase Owen. Jase was born December 19,2014. He weighed 8lbs 7oz and was 21 inches long. Jase is the son of Michael and Jenel Brooks of Morgantown.
The 2015 Butler County Extension Service Leadership Development Workshop will be February 19th at 6:00 P.M.
The 2015 Bearfest festivities were held on Friday, February 6th, after the girls game of a double header against Grayson County. Jake Martin and Molly Sanders were crowned Bearfest King and Queen in front of the packed stands.
