The Butler County Boys and Girls Club had a fantastic turnout for lunch on July 11th. The lunch was free and sponsored by Hardee's and the Housing Authority of Morgantown. Many people stayed and ate at the club to socialize and talk with all the children.

On Saturday July 7th 2018 at 5PM, the dog show was held at pavilion #3. The event was sponsored by McDonald's, Fuller Physical Therapy, and Hardee's. The turnout yielded 27 contestants. The winners were as follows:

The Green River Catfish Festival pageants kicked off with the 0-7 year olds and the Miss Catfish on Thursday night at the Eva J. Hawes Building. A total of 104 particpants competed.
