An early morning, single vehicle accident on Rochester Road resulted in the driver being airlifted from Pamidaparking lot.
Marvin R. Perry III, 69, of Drakesboro, Kentucky, was traveling east on Rochester Road around the 11000 block at approximately 6:23 am on Tuesday in a lite truck.  Tire marks found in the grass leading up to the accident indicated that the vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway while going around a curve.  The vehicle traveled off the roadway down an earth embankment approximately 219 feet off the road.  The vehicle struck an earth embankment then hit a small tree. 

Perry was unconscious at the scene and was transported by Air-Evac to Skyline Hosptial in Tennessee for his injuries.
Responded to the scene were Butler County EMS, Butler County Rescue Squad, Butler County Sheriff's Department, and Air-Evac.
