Wreck on Hwy.70 Sends Two to Hospital

A single vehicle accident on Wednesday night sent two people to the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Shortly after 11:00pm emergency personnel responded to the accident on Hwy. 70 (Brownsville Road). According to Butler County Sheriff's Department a car driven by Justin Boyd (DOB 7/7/94) of Bowling Green dropped of the right shoulder of the road and over-corrected hitting an embankment and overturning. The car came to rest on its top.

Boyd's passengers, Samantha Skinner,18, of Morgantown and a juvenile were transported to the Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Boyd was not injured. Responding were: Butler County Rescue Squad, Butler County EMS, Sheriff Deputies Chris Reneer and Joe Alford, EMS Director Brian McKinney.
