Wreck At Green River Feed Mill

Just before 12:15 p.m., a two-vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer and a Chrysler Sebring occurred in the parking lot of the Green River Feed Mill.

According to police records, the Ingram Brothers Truck, driven by Daniel Word of Powderly, had been parked on the truck scales at the feed mill. Word pulled his tractor trailer off of the scales and made a right turn through the parking lot. The Sebring, driven by Raymond Burden, had pulled forward out of a parking space and into the parking lot. When Word made this right turn, his trailer caught the front end of the Sebring, containing Burden and two passengers, and caused the car to flip. None of the people involved were transported to the hospital for the treatment of injuries.

Responding to the scene were Morgantown City Police, Butler County EMS, Butler County Rescue Squad, and the Morgantown Fire Department. MPD Chief Billy Phelps leads the investigation.
