Around 8:30am Tuesday morning a two vehicle accident occurred on Caneyville Road, KY 79, around the 1800 block. 
According to the police report, Kenzie Flener , 18, of Possum Hollow Road, was traveling North on Caneyville Road when she lost, control of her 2006 Ford Fusion, due to an unknown reason.  Evidence at the scene indicated that Flener overcorrected to the right after crossing over the center line and traveling off the (south) left side of the road.  When Flener overcorrected her vehicle entered into a side skid, facing east and continued traveling north, in the south bound lane. 

Pauline Dockery, 50, of 6807 Caneyville Road, who was driving a 2012 Dodge Journey, was traveling south and impact was made with Flener’s vehicle in a head on collision in the south bound lane 2’6”from the fog line.  Flener’s car came to a final rest in the ditch on the west side of the road with severe damage to the front of her vehicle.  Flener was transported to the Medical Center by the Butler County EMS. 
Dockery’s vehicle came to a final rest in the center of the road with severe damage to the vehicle.  Dockery was also transported to the Medical Center by EMS. After the collision Dockery’s vehicle caught fire and eventually the fire spread to Flener’s vehicle.  Both vehicles were a total loss. 
Responding to the scene were Butler County Sheriff Deputy Heath West, Butler County Rescue Squad, Butler County EMS, and Morgantown Volunteer Fire Department.
