Brandon, Pam and Ann Claire Phelps would like to announce the new addition of Miles Alexander Phelps to their family.  Alexander is the grandson of Miles and Wilma Tomes and Kevin and Debi Phelps and is the great-grandson of Darlene Tomes, June Humphrey and Bernice Phelps.  Alexander was officially adopted from Russia on Sept. 20 and came home in Oct.
The family wishes to thank the many people who helped bring Alexander home.  Without the help of Shirley Givens and her staff, Eric Elms, Kim Drake, and Darell McKee, it would not have been possible to adopt Alexander.  These wonderful people took time out of their daily schedules to assist in completing the necessary papers.  They also want to thank Dr. Hammad’s office and Casco Products for allowing them time off to go to Russia to bring Alexander home and they want to thank all their families who helped make this possible.
And they want to thank the Sacred Selections foundation who not only assisted them, but as assisted more than 40 families adopt children.  Nov. Is National Adoption Awareness month and the Phelps familywould like to give back to this foundation.  On Thursday night, Nov. 17 Little Tokyo and The Farm Boy restaurants are going to give back 15% of every meal that is purchased between the hours 4-8 pm to Sacred Selections.  Please come out and support this group who has helped bring the gift of adoption to so many families.  For more information go to sacredselections.org.
