Weekend break-ins in Morgantown lead to arrest

A trio of late-night break-ins has led to the arrest of a Morgantown man.  Shortly after midnight early Sunday morning, June 22, local law enforcement officers were contacted after a report of a possible intruded walking around inside the Mexican Store Taqueria y Billar on G.L. Smith Street in Morgantown. Officer James Embry with the Morgantown Police Department, along with Butler County Sheriff's Deputies Joe Alford and Chris Reneer responded to call.  A short time later Embry arrested Elvis Lee Tison III (DOB 11-1-94) on charges of Burglary/1st Degree and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.  After a brief investigation, Tison, of 183 Corey Lane in Morgantown, was also suspected and charged with breaking into Mark's Fireworks, also on G.L. Smith Street in Morgantown, and the Trading Post in Aberdeen.  Tison is lodged in the Butler County Jail.
