Week 10: From the sidelines... Henderson & Hixenbaugh Set School Records

Rex Henderson broke the school record for the most touchdown passes in a season on Friday night.  David Evans, who held the record of 24 touch down passes from the 1968 season, was on hand Friday night to watch the game and congratulate Rex.  Henderson now holds the record at 26 touch down passes in a season.

"I came to watch the record be broken, Rex is a great young man, and I wanted to be here to congratulate him," said Evans.

Rex in 10 games/ Passing-151 completions, 255 attempts, 2,478 yards passing, Avg. 248 yds per game thru 10 games, 26 TD Passes,  4 interceptions

Jacob "Hixey" Hixenbaugh
Jacob Hixenbaugh has set the new single season receiving record for yards at 921 this season. This surpassed the old mark held by Clay Embry of 917 set in 2010. Hixey in 10 games has 49 catches, 921 yards, and 5 touchdowns.

The All-SKY Conference football teams were announced Monday. In the small school division, the first-team offense included Butler County quarterback Rex Henderson and wide receiver Jacob Hixenbaugh. Pictured above with Coach Barry Frazier.

Bailee Anderson, Trevor Parker, Madison Boo Clark, and Ariel Phelps defeated Ohio students in the pumpkin relay race at half time and brought home the trophy.
