Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (Warren RECC) was recently recognized by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) for its energy efficiency efforts in several programs.
 
Ernie Peterson, TVA Kentucky District General Manager, presented the award to Warren RECC President and CEO W. Scott Ramsey at the cooperative’s annual Member Advisory Dinner on November 13. TVA Director Pete Mahurin also attended the event.
 
In 2013, TVA’s EnergyRight® Solutions Programs saw almost $60 million in homeowner investments for energy efficiency measures and 3,960 projects completed by business and industrial customers, which accounted for over $109 million invested in energy efficiency measures. Warren RECC was a powerful partner in helping EnergyRight Solutions achieve these accomplishments and was recognized as a Top Performer in Total Program Savings, EnergyRight Solutions for Industry, and Green Power Providers.
 
“Our partnership with Warren RECC enabled us to exceed our load management target goals for the sixth year in a row,” said Peterson. “Because of the efforts of Warren RECC and EnergyRight Solutions, we were able to make this a great year for Kentucky and the rest of the Tennessee Valley in terms of energy efficiency.”
