WARREN RECC EXPERIENCES OUTAGES FROM OVERNIGHT STORM

March 3, 2020 (Bowling Green, KY) A strong spring storm that rolled through the Warren RECC territory overnight caused widespread power outages. Strong lightning and winds caused several broken poles and downed power lines, primarily in Warren County, but extending into Simpson and Butler Counties. In addition to difficult weather conditions locally, the tornado that swept through Nashville affected TVA assets that also serve Warren RECC.

At the height of the storm, approximately 4,500 Warren RECC members were without power. As of 9:00 a.m., 140 members are still without power. Crews worked through the night and will continue to work today until all outages have been restored.

Please remember to stay away from downed power lines. If you see a downed line, please report it to one of our outage lines: In Warren County, call 270-843-9710. Outside Warren County, call 1-888-604-4321
