Warren RECC Employee Honored By TVPPA

October 10, 2018 (Bowling Green, Ky) Warren RECC’s Director of Safety and Training, Theresa Davis, was recognized recently for outstanding achievement by the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA).

Davis is among the first 23 recipients of TVPPA’s Education & Training’s Utility Security Professional (USP) certificate. This inaugural class was honored at TVPPA’s 2018 Utility Safety & Security Conference, conducted Sept. 26-28 in Chattanooga, TN. Davis and her classmates earned the recognition by completing a rigorous, comprehensive course of study designed to provide superior training for the individuals charged with the protection of assets and staff at their utilities.

“Earning a USP certificate is an outstanding achievement by any standard,” said TVPPA Director of Training Kim Culpepper. “Warren RECC will, no doubt, benefit quickly and significantly as a result of the work Theresa did to earn this recognition.”

W. Scott Ramsey, President and CEO of Warren RECC, added his congratulations.

“Safety is a vital part of what we do at Warren RECC. Keeping our employees and assets safe helps maintain the efficiency and reliability our members expect and Theresa plays a key role in making that happen,” Ramsey said. “She is a valuable member of our Warren RECC staff, and we congratulate her on this outstanding achievement.”
