Kayla would like to send this message to her family and friends: I just want to say thank you to my grandmother who taught me to be myself and to always be a leader, to always be kind and to be a hard worker in everything that I do or plan to do. Thank you to my teammates who have been there for me, thank you for always making me laugh. I’ve enjoyed every bus ride together and every game win or lose. I loved making wonderful memories with every single one of you. Her advice to new players is to practice how you want to play, jump high, and cheer loud.

Grace Embry, number 8 was escorted by her parents Kim and Wayne Embry. This is her 4th year playing volleyball as a middle hitter. After high school, she plans to attend tech school to be a dental hygienist. Grace would like to send this message to friends and family. I want to thank everyone for making this season possible and our fans for continuing to show us endless support. I know this season isn’t going exactly as planned but I’m so grateful to be here and to be able to play. Joining the team my freshman year, I was not only new to the team but to volleyball itself. Looking back on those first few practices, I never expected to be here today with the great memories and strong bonds that I have created. We have our moments but at the end of the day, I wouldn’t want to be on the court with anybody else. Lastly, I want to thank my parents for always believing in me and my coaches for always pushing me to be my best. I can’t wait to see what this season holds for us

Delaina was escorted tonight by her parents, Scott and Kara Flener. She has been playing volleyball for 8 years and is one of the Varsity Captains this year. She is a member of Pep Club, FCA, and FCCLA. She plans on attending SKY and becoming a Physicians Assistant. To my friends and family, thank you for your love and support and always believing in me even when I didn’t. I love every single one of you and I don’t know what I would do without yall. To my teammates, thank you for always making practice fun even if I wasn’t in a good mood that day. I will never forget all the memories we have had together. I cant wait to see what the next few years has in store for yall. I love you. To my sister, thank you for being the best big sister a girl could ever ask for. I will forever cherish the time that we played together and the times that you scream at me from the sidelines. I love you. To my mom, thank you for coming to every game even if means putting up with Will. Thank you for being my role model and making me who I am today. I love you. To my coaches, thank you for always pushing me to do my best and never giving up on me. Thank you for dedication to this team and always believing in us. To my dad, my #1 fan. Thank you for pushing me harder than anyone else all because you see the potential in me. Thank you for teaching me to “man up” even when things get hard. I would not be the volleyball player I am today without you. I love you. Lastly, I would like to thank God. Without him I would not have the ability to play the sport I love.

Lexa Johnson was

escorted by her parents Shanda Lovell and Matt Johnson. She has been playing volleyball for 4 years and is one of the varsity captains. Her future plans are to attend college at WKU and receive a bachelors in elementary education. I want to take a moment to thank the coaches for all they do. To coach Dockery and Mr. Flener, thank you for always pushing us and believing in us. You all are always able to see the potential in all of us players before we can see it in ourselves. Mrs. Baker, thank you for being the most patient and understanding coach, but also thank you for being such a supportive and caving person aside from volleyball. Oh, and thanks for saving us from Flener and his 8 monster laps. To my mom, thank you for being my number 1 supporter and best friend. Without you none of this would be possible. From helping at nearly every game to buying us water before every practice, thank you for everything you do. You’ve helped shaped shape me into who I am today and I’m so thankful. I love you so much. To my teammates, thank you for some of my favorite memories over the past 4 years. From having the best times at our lock ins to dying at camps it really has been a time to remember. we’ve grown together and I’ve made friends I know will be around for a while, I’m so happy to have gotten to know all of you. I’m going to miss y’all so much. To Jenna and SamieI’m so proud of both of you. The fact I get to play my last season with y’all has made senior year so much better. Even though, we want to tear each other heads off every practice I’m thankful that we get to spend time together doing what we all 3 love. I have no clue what I would do without y’all.
