Veterans honored at MES

On November 11, Morgantown Elementary held its annual Veteran's Day program under the direction of Mrs. JoLynn Reed, Primary Counselor. The program began with posting of the colors by the Butler County High School NJROTC, and the singing of the National Anthem by Ms. Tammy Young.

Following that Mrs. Janet Weathers class and Mrs. Courtney Meredith's class read patriotic poems, we were especially honored to have Marine Corps Veteran Staff Sergeant Lee Clark as our guest speaker. Mr. Clark is pictured with his wife Christy, and sons Kody and Kaleb both of whom are students at Morgantown Elementary.
