Registration for Upward Basketball & Cheerleading will begin on Saturday 11/19/11 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Butler County Middle  School Gym and on Saturday 12/10/11 at Aberdeen Baptist Church Gym.  It is important to attend this registration as an evaluation will be conducted for basketball players and an orientation session for cheerleaders, as well as uniform sizing. Upward Sports is for boys and girls, K4 – grade 6. K4 children must be 4 years old before January 1, 2012. Practices for cheerleading and basketball will begin the week of January 23 2012 and the season will begin on Saturday February 11, 2012, concluding on Saturday March 24, 2012. Cost will be $60.00 which includes uniforms and accessories, with discounts for multiple children from the same family.  A special end for the season award is also included in the cost along with a special awards celebration and entertainment on March 29, 2012.
By participating in Upward your child will get equal playing time, learn techniques to improve his/her basketball or cheerleading skills, receive special recognition awards after each game and develop new friendships.
