UK superfans Amy Smith-Thomas and Debbie Hammers made the short trip to Owensboro last Friday to see UK head coach John Calipari and the 2012 National Championship Trophy. Coach Cal and the trophy toured the state from Thursday to Saturday stopping in Ashland, Pikeville, Hazard, Frankfort, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, Paducah, Lexington, and Louisville.

Coach Cal took to his Twitter account after the completion of the tour and tweeted, "I hope on our trophy tour we made the #BBN feel important, special and showed we cared about them." He continued, "They were truly a part of what was accomplished. I hope that's what they remember! #Trophy Tour #WeAreUK."
