Tyler Reed has been named the assistant principal of Paris High School. He shared the following bio with the staff and community:
I am very excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Greyhound Family and the Paris community. My passion for education centers on building a positive school culture, providing access to opportunities, and meeting students where they are to increase academic standards through personalized learning. During my teaching tenure, I have served as a dual Learning and Behavior Disorders and Moderate to Severe Disabilities Special Education teacher at East Jessamine High School and Frankfort High School. At FHS, I also served as Special Education Department Chair.

My wife, Megan, and I have twin boys, Hayden and Hampton who are 3 years old. Megan is Director of Marketing at NetGain Technologies. We love to spend most of our time enjoying the company of our extended family.
I grew up in Morgantown, KY, and attended Butler County High School. After high school, I went on to the University of Kentucky where I majored in social studies education, and competed on the varsity swim team earning 12 All-American Honors. After college, I had the opportunity to represent our country on the USA National Swim Team, winning a gold medal as a part of the 4x100 relay team at the 2012 World Championship. Since competing internationally, I have had swim coaching positions at Frankfort and Bryan Station High Schools.
Congratulations Tyler!
