Two Vehicle Collision Results in Fatality in Warren County

Alvaton, KY  (July 27, 2019)- On Saturday morning, at 11:12 AM, the Kentucky State Police Post 3, Bowling Green received a call from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department requesting assistance with an investigation of a two vehicle collision that resulted in a fatality.  The collision had occurred on Scottsville Road, involving a Chevrolet SUV and an agriculture tractor, and took place near the intersection of Mt. Lebanon Road in the Alvaton community of Warren County.  Post 3 Troopers responded to the scene. 

 

The preliminary investigation has revealed that Garry L. Willoughby (67) of Alvaton, was operating an agriculture tractor while traveling southbound on Scottsville Road.  Willoughby’s tractor was towing a piece of agriculture equipment.   Megan M. Davidson (34) of Bowling Green, was operating a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and was also traveling southbound on Scottsville Road.  Davidson’s vehicle approached from behind, striking the rear of Willoughby’s vehicle.     

 

Megan Davidson was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office. Garry Willoughby was transported from the scene and taken to Tristar Skyline Medical Center Hospital in Nashville for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.  He is currently listed in stable condition.  

  

The investigation is still ongoing and being conducted by Trooper Daniel Priddy.  He was assisted on the scene by Alvaton Fire Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Department,  Medical Center EMS, Warren County Coroner’s Office, and Air Evac.  No further information is available for release at this time.
