Two BCHS Juniors Participating in Kentucky's Governor's Scholars Program

Butler County High School will have two Juniors participating in the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program this summer. Camryn Newland and Emily Tyree were selected among the state's top candidates for this elite summer education program. Possible GSP campuses this year are Morehead State University, Centre College, or Bellarmine University

Camryn is the daughter of Mike and Donna Newland and plans to pursue a degree in Microbiology after graduating from BCHS in May 2020.
