May 6-May 10 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Teachers probably spend more time each day with students than their families do. In this day of educational accountability teachers are asked to be and do more. That's why communication and support for our teachers is vital. Teachers influence students every day to do their very best: to persevere when they meet a challenge, to consider their fellow classmates, to be on time and have a positive attitude.  Each and every Butler County Schools employee is committed to guiding and nurturing students to be successful.  Serving families and the community is our priority.  So take a moment this week to send an email, write a note or drop by the school and let them know you appreciate and support them. Tuesday is Teacher Appreciation Day!
