Constitutional Amendment #1, which dealt with the expansion of victims’ rights, was supported in Butler County by a 53-46 percent margin.  “YES” votes were 2,513, while “NO” votes were 2,205.  The amendment also passed statewide.

Constitutional Amendment #2, which focused on terms for judges and related issues, was soundly defeated in Butler County and across the state.  65 percent (3,122) of Butler Countians voted “NO,” while just under 35 percent (1,677) voted “YES.”
