Trafficking Ketamine, 90% THC Vapes and High Grade Marijuana

The Bowling Green - Warren County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Kentucky State Police Interdiction Team and Bowling Green Police K-9 have arrested:

Charged with:

  1. Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, (Ketamine) Class D Felony

  2. Trafficking in Marijuana over 8 oz. to 5 Pounds, Class D felony (Gun Enhancement)

  3. Disregarding a Stop Sign

  4. Failure to or Improper Signal

Detectives developed information indicating the accused was involved in illegal drug trafficking. Following surveillance and a subsequent traffic stop conducted by the Kentucky State Police Interdiction Unit, a Bowling Green Police Department K-9 unit alerted to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 18 grams of Ketamine—commonly referred to as a “date rape drug”—200 vape cartridges (2 grams each) containing 90% THC, and one pound of high-grade marijuana.

The accused was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail pending arraignment in Warren District Court. The case will be presented to the Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney for Grand Jury consideration in the near future.
