Three BC Softball players receive All-State recognition

Three Butler County High School softball players have been named to the Kentucky Softball Coaches' Association Class 2A All-State Teams.

Senior pitcher Avery Gleason (3.04 ERA, 21-3, 109 K) and freshman third baseman Parker Willoughby (.464 BA, 20 RBI, 2 HR) each made the second team, while sophomore catcher Madison Clark (.422 BA, 38 RBI, 9 HR) received honorable mention recognition.

All three players put up impressive number across the board for a Butler County team (23-6-1) that that won the 12th District tournmanet before being eliminated in the semi-finals of the Third Region tournament by eventual winner Daviess County.
