Thank You Butler County
To the Residents of Butler County:
Abraham Lincoln said, “I like to see a person who is proud of where they’re from and I like to see a person make where they’re from proud of them.”
I simply cannot believe it has already been a year since I was crowned Miss Butler County. Last year I had been to six pageants before finally coming to Butler County to win. At the time I was so relieved to have finally won, but I think God knew what he was doing when he led me to Morgantown. This year has been an incredible year and I cannot thank you all enough for letting ne serve as your Miss Butler County. I was blessed to be selected into the top 15 finalists out of 91 women at Miss Kentucky in January, and I hope I truly represented each and every one of you to the best of my ability. I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for being such a wonderful community to represent and please know that it is with a heavy heart that I give up my crown. I will forever cherish all the memories I have made this year as Miss Butler County. From ribbon cuttings to parades, I have had the opportunities to walk into rooms of strangers and leave with rooms full of friends.
I would like to thank the fair board and especially Becky Hankins for being such wonderful people and for always inviting me back. I hope the new Miss Butler County finds in her heart the pride I have found with representing such a beautiful county and such lovely people. Thank you all for an amazing year.
