Taylor Graduates with Doctorate from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Bro. Roger W. Taylor, Pastor of the Aberdeen Baptist Church of Morgantown, KY, marched in the graduation ceremonies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO to receive the Doctor of Ministry Degree on May 10, 2014.

Dr. Taylor’s research and writing uncovered a ministry need of not only reaching families through Vacation Bible School but assimilating them into the many churches who will follow this intentional strategy. His dissertation is An Intentional Training Strategy to Mobilize Churches for Follow-up through the Ministry of Vacation Bible School. He believes his hours of study will assist church leaders to continue the connections with families reached through VBS. Aberdeen Baptist Church, where Dr. Taylor has pastored for the past eighteen years,  has become one of the leading churches in conducting VBS in the Kentucky Baptist Convention.
Taylor is a 1972 graduate of Bremen High School in Bremen, KY and the son of the late Herbert Daniel (H.D.) Taylor and Luwana Taylor of  Central City, KY. He is married to Miriam Mitton Taylor of Georgia and resides in Morgantown, KY. Dr. Taylor is willing to  present his strategy to churches who might be interested in following a plan of not only reaching families for Christ but also assimilating them into the ministry of churches. He can be reached at 21 Walnut Lane, Morgantown, KY 42261. He can also be contacted by phone (270) 526-3837 and (270) 999-0398.
