TaeKwonDo Demonstration at M.E.S.

Jeramy Black visited over 700 students at Morgantown Elementary on Tuesday, December 16th, presenting a TaeKwonDo demonstration to all students in grades Kindergarten through Fifth.  TaeKwonDo is a martial art that began in Korea.  Jeramy uses this sport to teach students self-defense, fitness, confidence, courtesy, and respect.  According to school officials, Black did a "fantastic job" talking to students about the importance of self-discipline and respecting themselves and treating others the way they want to be treated.

The students were actively involved throughout the presentation and enjoyed getting a chance to learn some basic kicks and sparring techniques.  Jeramy is owner of the TaeKwonDo Academy on Shive Lane in Bowling Green.   Kody and Kaleb Clark, who are students of Jeramy's, also helped with the presentation.
